Goals
Within 3 months, deliver full reporting on the control framework for 2025, with supervision and support from management.
Within 3 months, demonstrate a full understanding of the control framework, and present a draft for a delivery plan for 2026 in collaboration with management.
Assist MLRO in offering advice on compliance in operations on AML and KYC procedures.
Regular review of all compliance policies, conforming to regulatory demands within a timeframe of maximum 2 months from notification.
Instrumental in delivering material for license and partnership applications.
Supporting company compliance with DORA, GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
The Job
A Junior Compliance Officer in Januar is responsible for timely and investigative controls. Mainly this will be ensuring AML and KYC compliance in 1st line, and with the support of management this extends to all departments when delivering the yearly control framework.
Daily activities include acting as liaison for Operations Specialists and the MLRO, updating policies and procedures, and carrying out controls across the business. There will be a significant number of administrative tasks in connecting with licensing and partnership applications, as well as regulatory implementations. This typically involves filling in and sending official forms, collecting information internally from stakeholders and presenting it in a well-documented manner.
The main assignment each year is to deliver on the control framework, which includes a full review of all business processes and activities across the entire business. This will be done in close collaboration with management.
The Junior Compliance Officer will report to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, and support any ongoing projects within both the Compliance Department and Operations.
Responsibilities
Perform regular controls across the business, monthly, quarterly and yearly, ensuring activities in the company are carried out according to procedures, policies and guidelines.
Reporting on controls, including presenting results and recommendations for changes, to management.
Responsible for ensuring all compliance procedures, and controls are up to date, and that these live up to regulatory demands.
Responsible for ensuring compliance within Operations is being kept at a high standard, as outlined by management.
Ensuring policies, guidelines and procedures are kept updated in accordance with relevant legislation.
Updating and documenting policies and changes. And that documentation is easily accessible to internal staff and audits.
Ensuring delivery of the control framework in collaboration with the CRCO and management.
Participation in Compliance and Operations projects and relevant cross company projects.
Offering advice and guiding 1st line operational staff on how to best adopt and follow policy based on best practices in collaboration with the MLRO.
Participation in Operational Calibration sessions and Financial Crime Committees.
Producing material, documentation and policies to secure future licenses, and partner integrations.

About You
High sense of responsibility, detail orientation, and focus on execution.
Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent.
Optional: Experience with carrying out and reporting on 2nd level controls.
Optional: Experience with writing policy, conforming to regulative standards.
You do not need to have intricate knowledge of crypto, we do. We will onboard you, and you will have close sparring with the CRCO and the MLRO on your assignments. We expect you to want to take responsibility and drive your activities early on.
Practical Information
Salary range: 28.000-36.000 DKK per month, including pension.
Applications will be handled on an ongoing basis, and applicants will be invited to interviews throughout the period. We aim for an early start date, preferably February 1, 2026.
